Founded in 2015, formally as a Franchise, Katashu Martial Arts has been providing top-quality Karate instruction for over 9 years. We rebranded in March 2024 as Katashu Martial Arts. Our experienced instructors each have over 15 years experience and are dedicated to teaching the art of Wado-Ryu Karate to students of all ages and abilities.
At Katashu Martial Arts, we believe that Karate is not just a physical practice, but a way of life. Our Karate classes focus not only on self-defence techniques, but also on building character, discipline, and respect.
Mr Middleton started Wado-Ryu Karate over 25 years ago, attaining his 1st Dan in 1999. He is currently a 6th Dan - Master in Karate and a 2nd Dan in Kickboxing!!
Mrs Middleton started Wado-Ryu Karate in 2008 attaining her 1st Dan in 2011. She is currently a 4th Dan in Karate.
Mr Leat started Wado-Ryu Karate in 2017 and attained his 1st Dan in Karate in 2019 and his 2nd Dan in 2021. Mr Leat is also a 1st Dan in Iaido which he achieved in 2023.
